M&P’s Next Big Adventure

**This event happened in February 2022 and has been sitting in my drafts. Enjoy!

I had the honor of planning my little brother and sister-in-law’s baby shower. This was a special one for us as this would be the first baby in our immediate family. My sister-in-law loved the baby shower Khloe Kardashian threw for her best friend Malika. My brother is also really into camping. That is where the inspiration for this baby shower came from: neutrals with a pop of green, camping but not too camping, a light airy, gender neutral baby shower.

I forgot how much work planning events are! I was an in-house corporate event planner in a previous life and had not planned a family event because of the pandemic. Luckily, this was the time I had taken a sabbatical and had some free time. We’re also really lucky to have hired some amazing vendors to help put the day together. Special shout out to our friends and family that DIY-ed a bunch of things and dealt with my crazy attention to detail.

We used polaroid camera as a guest book and added them to a Thomas Guide map. (One like our dad/uncles used in our family adventures!)
